Let’s hope the car is in better shape than they are…

Mick and Chris are good friends, work mates, fine athletic specimens and liable to more than a little bit of sarcasm.

While enjoying an isotonic beverage, in a local watering hole, the topic of  rallies was brought up by a friend. They knew of this sporting event that consisted of driving a slightly derelict car all the way to Monte Carlo. Bearing in mind that these are Yorkshiremen, that means driving it back too.

When Mick and Chris took a look at the details of the event, and found out that it was organised to the benefit of charity, they entered.

So the intrepid duo are currently searching for a highly reliable, beautifully styled, mint condition convertible sports car for £300.

Mick, 50, is a married to the lovely Sue and father to two beautiful children, Emma and Matt.
Mick brings with him a wealth of experience in terms of vehicle maintenance and repair, an avid model builder, Mick is very good at putting stuff back together when it falls apart.

Chris, 43, has a dog.
He has been known to do a bit with electronics which may well come in handy. Chris is an engineer by education, a buyer by experience and a barista by choice.
